Announcing BOC’s production of Humperdick’s classic opera, Hänsel und Gretel, reimagined through the lens of Boston students! Hijinks ensue when college freshmen Hänsel and Gretel are left to fend for themselves for the first time. Will they be eaten by a predatory witch luring starving students, or will mom and dad save the day?
We are excited to be running a food drive for the Brookline Food Pantry in tandem with our production. If you would like to donate, please refer to the Brookline Food Pantry website for suggestions on what to get, then bring your donation along to any of our three performances.
This production will be sung in German with English subtitles. We are thrilled to be teaming up with the Boston Annex Players
Our show will run on April 10th and 12th at 7:30. There will also be a unique opportunity to attend an open dress rehearsal for a discounted price on April 9th at 7:30.
